Southern Aroostook Agricultural Museum

From Mid June through the end of September, area visitors are invited to take a walk through history by visiting the Southern Aroostook Agricultural Museum on Route 1 in Littleton.  Visit a one- room school house built in 1872, take a tour through an old fashioned kitchen and discover items used in the early 1900′s, and view displays of early farm machinery in the Hagan Barn.  Tours are available Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 1 to 4:00 pm from now…

The University of Maine at Presque Isle will host a Make-a-Wish Walk on Thursday, September 25th starting at 6:00 pm in the Campus Center’s Multi-Purpose Room.  Check-in and on-site registration begins at 5:00 pm.  Make-a-Wish grants the wishes of Maine children with life-threatening medical conditions.  This event is open to the public.  Adults raising at least $100 and youths under 18 raising at least $50 will receive a free “Walk for Wishes” t-shirt.  To register, donate, and get more details,…
