WHOU and Northern Maine Media is radio and much more. You’ve not only heard what we do but you’ve also SEEN us everywhere you turn. From great music, concert give-aways, Red Sox, live video streaming events (like basketball, football, parades, soccer, hockey), but you also see us on the web. Not only do we build websites for businesses and organizations but we also manage social media for our clients to get them noticed.
We are a community company promoting and supporting Aroostook County and Western New Brunswick and we have a great time with what we do. These positions can be combined for a full-time opportunity for the right candidate.
We are looking for a professional, customer service minded staff member to work mornings Monday through Friday. This position is responsible for managing the flow of traffic in the office including use of our studios, processing of correspondence and managing our corporate accounts. Strong organizational skills is required and Preference will be given to candidates with demonstrated experience and strong professional references.
We are looking for a DJ to work afternoons Monday through Friday. Previous experience helpful but not required. We can train the right candidate. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Social Media Manager
We spend a great deal of time with social media and we would like to talk to you about our job if you can answer yes to the following questions:

- Would you like to work with social media and get paid for it?

Media Sales Representative
We are looking for someone to help us with clients for radio, web, video, social media, streaming and online applications. We offer a very competitive compensation package and flexible scheduling. You must be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills, have solid professional references and be comfortable working with people. Previous experience is preferred.
