Bangor LL Now 2-0 At New England Regional

In round two of the New England LL Regional at Bristol, Connecticut the Bangor LL 11/12s All Stars beat Massachusetts 10-4 on Monday morning. Bangor is now 2-0 and will play in the regional championship game Thursday at 5PM for the right to go to the Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pennsylvania.

 

Bangor’s Caden Karam was the winning pitcher, going 6.1 innings and striking out 14 and allowing just two hits.  At the plate he also had a RBI double. Gavin Hughes came on in relief and got the final two outs.

 

Jacoby Harvey drove in three runs. Patrick Guite had two RBIs…Gavin Hughes , Kaleb Johnson and Nate O’Donnell also had RBI.

 

The New England Regional Championship game on Thursday at 5PM will be against either Massachusetts or New Hampshire. Those two teams play on Wednesday for the right to play Bangor.

 

A reminder this tournament is a modified double-elimination tourney so the winner of Thursday’s game goes to Williamsport!

 

Only three teams from the state of Maine have earned a spot in the Little League Baseball World Series in the 75 year history of the Williamsport, Pennsylvania event. The Bangor LL All Stars 11/12s team is now two wins away from joining that list.
