Join us in welcoming John Cariani to the Mark & Emily Turner Memorial library for an evening discussion about his book, “Almost, Maine,” based on his play of the same title. We will have a reading from the novel, as well as a signing and a Q&A segment. This event will take place in the Akeley Gallery, on the first floor of the library.
The following morning (Saturday, June 3rd) at 9AM we will be hosting an informal chat with John to discuss writing for the page and stage, and transferring stories between the two.
John Cariani is a Tony® Award-nominated actor, a playwright, and a published author who grew up in Presque Isle, Maine. We are thrilled to have him rejoin our community for this spectacular weekend of events.
Paperback copies of the book will be available for sale & signing at the event; details are still in progress, but will be added to this page as soon as they are ironed out. This event is free to attend.
