Excited to share that a lunar capsule has “landed” at UMPI’s Houlton Higher Education Center just in time for the eclipse. This is a special opportunity being made possible through a collaboration with Bowdoin College. Abigail DeVille’s interactive sculpture Lunar Capsule will be on site at the Houlton Center through April 10 and will provide a unique opportunity during the eclipse for locals and visitors to sit inside it and record their stories about life in Maine. DeVille will weave a sampling of those stories into an audio installation that is part of her upcoming exhibition at the Bowdoin College Museum of Art in Brunswick.
