UMaine goalie Jeremy Swayman has been named Hockey East Player of the Week and why not after his 48 save performance in the Black Bears 1-0 win over Providence Friday night in the regular season finale.
The victory secured a a home playoff series for the HE Quarterfinals this weekend at Alfond Arena in Orono. That hasn’t happened since 2012.
