Awards keep pouring in for former Hodgdon High School standout Chris Hudson. The Bentley University senior has been named to the Division II All-East Second Team by the National Association of Basketball Coaches.
The 6-foot-5 Hudson helped the Falcons finish 17-12, scoring 19 PPG, 7.4 RPG, almost 3 APG. Add in 1.5 SPG, 1.5 BPG and you are talking numbers that no Northeast-10 Conference player has attained in at least nine years, according to the Bentley SID department.
Hudson has already been named Northeast-10 Defensive Player of the Year and has been named NE-10 First Team All Conference.
He finished his Bentley career with 1.428 points in 109 games. That puts him 21st on the school’s all-time scoring list. Another Mainer, Tyler McFarland (Camden Hills HS) tops the Bentley scoring list with 2,118.
Hudson led the Hodgdon Hawks to the Class D state championship in 2014 and then played at Williston Northhampton Prep School in Massachusetts before attending Bentley.
