Houlton/GHCA girls track team records five first-place finishes

Caribou – The combined Houlton-Greater Houlton Christian Academy track squad came out strong in the team’s third meet of the season Saturday, May 7, in Caribou.  The girls had five first-place finishes;  Teanne Ewings in the 1600 and 3200 meter races, Ariana Ardell in the Long Jump and Triple Jump and Kaitlyn Kenney in the Javelin.  The girls team placed second out of eight teams with 120 points behind MDI with 222 points.  The boys team tied for seventh place with Washburn with 24 points out of nine teams.
