The coronavirus situation means Maine basketball fans will not get to see Tacko Fall and the Maine Red Claws for a while.
The NBA has been forced to suspend its schedule and the NBA’s developmental league, the G-League, is also suspending play.

NEW YORK, March 12, 2020 – In response to the coronavirus pandemic and following the NBA’s announcement tonight that it is suspending game play, the NBA G League has also suspended the 2019-20 season, effective after tonight’s games.
The Maine Red Claws, the affiliate of the Boston Celtics, play at the Portland Expo. The team was scheduled to play its next home game on Sunday.
But, their last game, at least for a while, was played last night in Delaware and the Red Claws lost to the Red Coats, 113-92. Tacko Fall had another double-double (12 points, 14 rebounds) in 21 minutes of action.
The Red Claws have a record of 28-14, good for third place in the Eastern Division of the G-League.
The league’s regular season was scheduled to end on March 28th, followed by the playoffs.
