Varney Commits To Play At Husson

Hawks Standout Joins Deprey As Eagles Recruit

Hermon High School standout forward Isaac Varney will play his college basketball at Husson University in the fall.

Varney joins Caribou standout Parker Deprey and Winthrop’s Cam Wood joining the Eagles prgoram.

“We felt Isaac was one of the top seniors in the state this year.  We are excited to have him join our program,” says head coach Warren Caruso.  “Isaac is very versatile, he can play anywhere on the floor and defends very well.   He makes plays at both ends to help his team win.”  –  Husson Press Release

Varney had his senior year cut short with a foot injury. He was averaging 19 PPG and 10 RPG.

The Hawks went 70-7 during the four years Varney was a starter at Hermon.
