Plourde Is First Team All-America Golfer

Mainer Among Top D-III Golfers In Nation

Newcastle, Maine golfer Bailey Plourde has been named a NCAA Division III First Team All America by the Women’s Golf Coaches Association (WGCA). She is a junior at Centre College in Kentucky.

Plourde set a school record at Centre with a 74.8 scoring average in this 2019-2020 season, including one win and two top-three finishes in fall tournaments. She had a third place and 10th place finish in two spring tournaments before the NCAA stopped spring sports because of the coronavirus.

Plourde played her high school golf in Maine at Lincoln Academy and won the girls Individual title three times and was runnerup in another season.

She won the Maine Women’s Amateur Championship in 2018.
