Central High School girls basketball coach Jamie Russell is now a member of the 400 win club.
It happened Tuesday night when his Red Devils team beat Foxcroft Academy 48-36.
Russell joins the likes of Jeff Hudson (Presque Isle) and Larry Gardner (Ft Fairfield) who have joined the 400 win mark in the past year.
Maine’s all-time leader in high school wins is now-retired Boothbay HS coach IJ Pinkham with 659.
Russell knows a lot of the wins list as he is one of the foremost historians in Maine when it comes to high school hoops.
