The County Federal Credit Union makes donation to Northern Maine Veterans Cemetery Corporation

Presque Isle, ME- April 21, 2016 – The County Federal Credit Union is pleased to announce support for the final resting place of our veterans.

In the spirit of the founders of the Loring Federal Credit Union and its mission, The County Federal Credit Union makes a $1,000 donation to the Northern Maine Veterans Cemetery for its current project. The project entails modifications to the committal shelter making it more adaptable to the northern Maine weather elements. Once complete the upgrades will allow Veterans and their families to conduct ceremonies without the worry of weather interference.

“This donation fits with our heritage perfectly,” stated Ryan Ellsworth, President and CEO of The County Federal Credit Union. “Our organization was founded in 1956 to serve Loring Air Force Base personnel and employees. This being our sixtieth anniversary, we felt that it was fitting for us to contribute to this very worthwhile cause. What a great way to honor our nations heroes.”
