Use caution on May 21
The Greater Houlton Christian Academy Bike-a-Thon is going to be on May 21st this year and the organizers are asking dog owners to take careful note along the planned routes, to be sure their pets are leashed or housed between 7 a.m. and noon.
Also, drivers along these routes, please take extra caution with the increased amount of bike traffic on Saturday, May 21.
Here are the routes: shortest routes(10 mile and 20 mile) will cover the White Settlement, Catalina, Hodgdon Mills, Walker Road, Porter Settlement, Bangor Road and the County Road (3 miles from town). Other routes (60 and 100) travel to Haynesville and parts of New Limerick.
