Winslow’s Siviski Retires

High School Football Losing One Of The Best

One of the most successful high school football coaches in Maine, Winslow’s Mike Siviski, is retiring after 35 years with the Black Raiders.

And the 35 years is just his head coaching years. Add in assistant coaching duties and its 51 years.

Siviski is 73-years-old and admits that questions surrounding the upcoming season and Covid-19 issues factored into his decision to retire.

He has coached Winslow teams to over 250 wins with seven state championship teams and 11 regional title teams.

Last fall, the Black Raiders lost in the regional final to MCI,

Siviski is only the 4th head coach at Winslow since 1958. No word on the next head coach at this time.
